February 2011 Newsletter

Plates, napkins, cups, pink lemonade, bbq chips,
games and crafts provided. Bring mittens/gloves for one of the games (involves snow.)
Robyn will bring hot chocolate and cookies for decorating.

We will also have the option of doing an art craft, where your child's drawing can be set onto a bowl, tumbler or plate.  Robyn will be bringing the supplies and taking the orders at the party.  The cost is $7 for the plates and tumblers, $6 for the bowls and this includes supplies, processing and shipping as well.  Bring your checkbook, since the payment will have to be mailed in with the order.

What to bring:
• A snack to share
• A shoe box, cereal box or gift bag to decorate
• Signed Valentines, to distribute after we decorate the 'mailboxes'
• Checkbook, if you are interested in doing the Art Craft

Good Job to ALL of our participants!
Collin Matheny, age 13
John Israel III, age 9  grade 2
Ian Israel, age 6 grade 1
Melissa Carolyn, Bennett  age 8   grade 2
Katelyn Grace Bennett,  age 6   grade 1
Results:  Katelyn did not miss any words!  Wow!  Since she is below the entrance age for the district spelling bee, Collin Matheny will represent the Warren County Homeschoolers at the district spelling bee.  Collin tackled some tough words and only missed two.  Super!
Way to go everybody - Keep up the great work!
Go get 'em Collin!

And a big THANK YOU to Randy Matheny for organizing, and running the Spelling Bee, and for the time that you gave, for our Homeschoolers!
